We use two, three chip digital video cameras. These cameras have been purchased especially for weddings. They give the best picture quality in any lighting situation. No lights are used during the ceremony. Small wattage lights are used during receptions due to the low level of house lighting, and to ensure the best picture quality.

Tripods
Uncle Joe: Usually he has a cheap jerky tripod, if he has one at all.

We use professional fluid head tripods for the smoothest possible movements during your ceremony. A monopod is used during the reception to ensure a stable and even picture during the toasts, cake cutting and dancing.

Audio
Uncle Joe: A common problem with the home videographer, you get absolutely no vows and if you’re lucky you can just hear the speeches.
However, you do have plenty of Uncle Joe and Uncle Bob catching up.

We use professional wireless microphones to ensure your vows are loud and clear even if they were whispered (attached to the groom via a tiny lapel microphone).

Focus & Exposure
Uncle Joe: Another common problem, in most cases he shoots in auto mode causing unexpected out of focus video, and the occasional dark shot when the camera decides the window in the background is the main feature.

Post Production and Editing
Uncle Joe: In most cases is only capable of making VHS dubs from the video he shot, meaning you get raw, unedited footage that may take months to get.

All editing is done on Pentium 4/hyper-threaded computer using the most up to date editing and graphics software. (Sony Vegas & DVD Architect) Your wedding is artisticly blended together to create a lifelong memory of your special day. Once completed, it is burned to DVD and printed to digital tape. Since all our equipment is digital from start to finish, there is no quality loss.

Two Hats
Uncle Joe: Being your Uncle, he is constantly being disturbed by socializing relatives while trying his best to also be your videographer. This can cause some of the most important elements of your day being missed.
