About HVP

In 1987, my wife and I had our wedding videotaped by a friend who was nine months pregnant. It was basically a home movie, but we felt lucky we had a wedding video at all. The fact that our video wasn’t very good prompted us to start our own wedding video production service. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1984, with a Bachelors degree in broadcasting, and have worked in various video positions throughout central Kentucky, including KET, and WLEX-TV. I currently work a full-time position with the KY Natural Resources Cabinet as an aerial videographer/photographer/producer/web master.

My wife, Ruth Ann and I have videotaped hundreds of weddings dating back to 1988. Through discussions with our clients and constant research into what makes a great wedding video, we have been able to improve our wedding-day documentation. We feel that our wedding coverage is very complete. The end product, the edited video on DVD is something we are very proud of.
